I just sold this condo in the North Alamitos Beach neighborhood of Long Beach, CA. Was there anything particularly distinctive about this condo from an architectural standpoint? Not really. The living room did have 2 big windows and a fireplace, and the condo had also been recently updated with new laminate floors and fresh paint. It really needed some staging “WOW” factor to motivate buyers to see it in person, though. Did it work? YES! The winning offer was received (multiple offers were received!) within 24 hours after it went live. The seller could not have been happier, as she received $10k more than she thought she could get! Equally important as staging is professional photography. The difference between photos taken with an iPhone and a pro’s photos is NIGHT and DAY! Local knowledge, free staging, and amazing photography= more money in your pocket.
